How we charge for storage at Early Bird

We always try to keep our prices simple and easy to understand, whether its for a full unit or space to store your boxes or other items.

We are developing an online cost calculator which will give you a good idea of what you are likely to pay, but as most customers needs vary, please free to contact us and we will give you a more exact cost.

Early Bird Storage charge by the week for either individual items (listed blelow) or for full self storage units. Our 2023 rates are as follows:

Early Bird Standard Boxes: £1.00

Bicycles: £3.00

Suitcase: £2.50

Large Items (such as TV): £2.00

X Large Items (such as excercise bike): £3.00

Student Storage

We specialise in flexible storage solutions for St Andrews University students

Early Bird Storage (formerly St Andrews Storage) have been looking after the belongings of St Andrews University students for over 10 years.
Short term or long term we provide flexible storage arrangements for many students in St Andrews.
We pick up and deliver back and can provide you with packing boxes and tape. We understand that your priorities are: Security, value for money, flexibility and reliability. That’s why we are preferred by so many students.

STEP 1

Book Online

Using our Student Storage Form online or even a simple email if you prefer, tell us the items that you wish to store. Let us know how many boxes you require and a time when we can deliver them to you.

STEP 2

Collection

One of our drivers will collect your items on the day specified when you placed the order within an allotted time. Please let us know if there are any parking restrictions at your property.

STEP 3

Storage

Your belongings will be logged in on arrival to the warehouses and stored in a safe, dry unit until you need them delivering back to you.

STEP 4

Delivery

Simply go online or email us to let us know that you would like your belongings delivered back to you and when. We don’t usually need much notice but be aware that the more notice you give the easier it is to book your delivery.
